We received an email from a friend asking for our help. Two of his teenage nieces had arrived at a refugee camp in eastern Sudan. They had escaped from Eritrea and were now trying to make their way to their uncle in the capital city.
When his nieces asked for information from those in the camp, they were confronted by men who said they weren’t allowed to leave without the proper paperwork. If they didn’t have the proper paperwork, then the two girls would have to go with the guards to a new location.
Sex trafficking is rampant in refugee camps in Sudan. #Pray4OpenDoors and for those who are most vulnerable.
