He pointed his finger in her face and said, “You must never, ever come back to Sudan! Do you understand me?”
The missionary paused and replied “Yes, I understand your words.”
Within a few hours following that conversation with the National Intelligence officer, she and her husband were expelled from the country. A couple months later, the remaining few workers were also forced to leave.
Today in Africa, there are 3 countries that restrict all access to missionary work. Please join us over the next year to #Pray4OpenDoors in Eritrea, Somalia and Sudan. Pray that:
1) Missionaries would be able to enter and remain in these countries.
2) More workers would be raised up during this time of waiting so that when the doors open, teams would be ready.
3) The believers living in these countries would sense Jesus near and continue to boldly proclaim His name.
